U.S.M.C. M1912 First Aid Pouch (WWI Pattern)
This is the corps first Aid pouch design which again has a hang over from WWI the original design was based on that of the Army’s original canvas design, the first model has the M1910 U.S.M.C. Double Hook through the fabric and only reinforced by two eyelets, again although this model dates from WWI it was most certainly issued at the beginning of WWII. |

small area off of the
canvas. |

U.S.M.C.M1912 First Aid Pouch (2nd Pattern Large Style)
Finally we
offer a large 2nd Pattern pouch as studies have shown that these
varied quite a lot in exact style and design, probably down to
when and whom produced that particular contract of pouches fro the
marines, this models is about half an inch large and has a more
curved flap and the Durable DOT’s set lower down the front of the
pouch. |

U.S.M.C. Water Canteen Cover (1st Pattern)
This is a reproduction of the 1st pattern cover issued to the United states marine corps during WWII, these are a short flap, unlined cover, with a double stitched base, reinforced rear seam and specail U.S.M.C. version double hook. The 1st pattern cover was originally designed produced by the USMC Quatermasters, on behalf of the corps. This style of cover was introduce around about 1942, and replaced the U.S.M.C. version of M1910 cover.
Please note: These covers are considerately smaller than there army cousins, and therefore a very tight fit, this is not a production fault by us its an original design flaw. |

U.S.M.C. Water Canteen Cover (2nd Pattern)
This is a
reproduction of the 2nd pattern cover issued to the United states
marine corps during WWII, these are a short flap, unlined cover,
with a double stitched base, reinforced rear seam and special
U.S.M.C. version double hook. The 2nd pattern cover is identical
to the 1st pattern except this model uses Lift the DOT snap
closures instead of the Durable DOT's as these were government
standard for canteen covers and are a much stronger fastener in a
combat
environment.
Please note: These covers are considerately smaller than there army cousins, and therefore a very tight fit, this is not a production fault by us its an original design flaw. |

U.S.M.C. Water Canteen Cover (3nd Pattern)
This is
our reproduction of the first production WWII 3rd patter canteen
cover, this model is often referred to as the "Cross Flap", the
"Bunny Eared" or even "Dog Eared" model. This cover was again a
design conceived by the USMC Quartermasters, as pert of the
specialised equipment supplied and used by the Corp due WWII, this
model as the distinctive long flaps which wrap around the neck of
the M1910 Canteen to hold it securely inside the cover. Please not
these are even smaller in size than the 1st and 2nd patterns and
originals tend to have shrunk some what over the years, as a
result I have spent quite a lot of time on this to get the correct
"factory fit" and thus have your cup and canteen held firmly but
not so tight that you have to fight with it to get the canteen out
again.
Please note These covers are even smaller in size than the 1st and 2nd patterns and therefore a very tight fit, this is not a production fault by us its an original design flaw. |

U.S.M.C. Water Canteen Cover (4th Pattern)
This is our reproduction of the first
production WWII 4th patter canteen cover, this model is often
referred to as the "Cross Flap", the "Bunny Eared" or even "Dog
Eared" model, this model is identical in all but one respect this
version has the "Drain Hole" canteen refill hole in the base of
the cover. This cover was again a design conceived by the USMC
Quartermasters, as pert of the specialised equipment supplied and
used by the Corp due WWII, this model as the distinctive long
flaps which wrap around the neck of the M1910 Canteen to hold it
securely inside the cover. Please not these are even smaller in
size than the 1st and 2nd patterns and originals tend to have
shrunk some what over the years, as a result I have spent quite a
lot of time on this to get the correct "factory fit" and thus have
your cup and canteen held firmly but not so tight that you have to
fight with it to get the canteen out again. Finally from a
technical point of view this model is only really suitable for a
very late WWII impression or that of the Korean War
period.
Please note: These covers are even smaller in size than the 1st and 2nd patterns and therefore a very tight fit, this is not a production fault by us its an original design flaw. |

U.S.M.C. Colt-Carbine Combination Pouch
(2nd Pattern)
This again was a corps design which latter went of to become the standard pouch used by the Army Military Police ,and Navy Shore Patrol in all but a slightly modified style. Most of these pouches as much of the Marines gear were made byBoytalthough I have seen a few examples but S.F. Co.Inc Contract # 39061 Dated 1943 and all Tan/Khaki yellow and in now way at all GREEN. Our reproduction is the 2nd pattern pouch which is not different to the first in function its just made of canvas instead of webbing, and is more of a high bread design between the 2nd pattern M1 carbine pouch and the M1918 pattern colt pouch, this model also fits over the pistol belt as the colt pouch. Finally the cleaver part of this design is the four Bartack down at the base of the front section, this allows ether two 15Round M1 Carbine pouches to be carried or two 7 Round Colt M1911A1 magazines or a mixture of both. |

M1943 Experimental Jungle Bladder Canteen Cover (1st pattern)
This is a reproduction of
the 1st pattern bladder canteen cover, this item was test and
developed from 1943 onwards, as a possible replacement for the
M1910 canteen in the Pacific theatre. The design was extensively
trailed throughout 1943 by members of the Army and marines as per
of the 1943 review and overhaul program which covered all aspects
of U.S. Army combat equipment. The flexible canteen design went
through a number of chances during its deployment, and are replica
is base on the first production type, this cover did see some
limited use during WWII and was latter issue during the early
stages of the Vietnam conflict. Please note the cover has the
correct stencilled markings as used on this item, it is also
supplied with two attachment hooks one special “U” hook on the
cover and one stand M1910 pattern double hook which is required to
fit this canteen to your belt kit. Please note there are many
slight differences in style and design, and thus we have opted for
the most common version of the 1st pattern cover I.E. the eyelets
face inwards to prevent damage top the bladder, and finally the
centre Leg tie/ lanyard eyelet in set low in the cover in the
binding.Yes this is an army but this item was also test by the
marines and also used by them and others up into the Vietnam
conflict. |

M2 Jungle
First Aid Kit Pouch (First Pattern*)
Introduced after 1943 as part of the combat
equipment review, this pouch contain an enlarge medical kit for
use in the Far East and the pacific rim where the high humidity
climate and Jungle conditions increased the danger of secondary
infection as the result of a combat injury. The kit was issued to
both Army and Marines troops serving in that theatre of conflict
and this is why I’ve included our reproduction in both categories.
Our Reproduction is based on the early style pouch* and thus is
made of O.D#7 (Dark Olive) canvas with O.D#3 (Light Olive) Type
III Class III 2 inch strap webbing and Type VIII Class I Edge
binding and internal webbing. We’ve made our pouch in the first
pattern style* as produced by Avery and Richard Green & Co
which has a distinctive “V” stitch design down the front of the
pouch where the machinist has sewn the internal webbings together,
also having looked at period picture this style was issued to the
U.S.M.C. Finally these were never made in O.D#9 Khaki or in an
O.D#3 Light Olive colour scheme, most were all O.D#7 (Dark Olive)
and the first few productions runs were in a part transitional
colour scheme as per our reproduction.
(*there are two pouch sizes the early
models are slightly different dimensions to the latter
production)
